Ethelene Warren Hulsey, 84, of Holly Springs, passed away at her home on February 16, 2025. She was born in Graves County Kentucky on August 9, 1940, to John Boyd Warren and Lydia Caroline Wilson Warren Johnson. Mrs Hulsey was a homemaker and a secretary for Hawks Feed Mill. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, raising her children, and being a servant of the Lord.
Mrs Hulsey, the widow of Edward Hulsey, is survived by three sons, Paul Gibbons, Rod Hulsey (Janie) and Richard Hulsey (Selena), and a daughter, Marsha Taylor (Ricky). She also leaves a brother, Jeff Warren and a sister, Shirley Tarver, twenty-three grandchildren, Tommy Esmon (Tina), Shane Esmon, Justin Rodgers (Jada), April Isabel (Jon), Stephanie Rodgers, Timothy Rodgers, Sonya Rodgers, Madison Rodgers, James Gibbons, Daniel Gibbons, Sarah Gibbons, Stephanie Nygaard, John Taylor, Crystal Moore (Ben), Anna Gibbons, Ricky Gibbons, Ethan Hulsey, Sarah Hulsey, Wyatt Hulsey (Kelli), Ally Hulsey, Madelin Hulsey, and Lydia Hulsey, thirty-nine great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren. Mrs Hulsey was preceded in death by her husband, children Kathy Esmon, Scottie Rodgers, Steve Rodgers, and Johnny Gibbons, a brother, William Thomas Warren, four sisters, Gracie Lassiter, Linda Newell Faulkner and Glenda Boatner, Tina Warren and a grandchild, Shannon Gibbons.
Services for Mrs Hulsey will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 2:00 pm. A visitation for family and friends will begin at noon, and continue until service time. Burial will be in Hulsey Cemetery. A celebration of her life will be held for friends and family at 940 Outdoors in Holly Springs, following the burial.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Esmon, Shane Esmon, Justin Rodgers, Timothy Rodgers, James Gibbons, Daniel Gibbons, John Taylor, Ricky Gibbons, Ethan Hulsey, and Wyatt Hulsey. Honorary pallbearer will be Joenas Esmon. |
