Michael Lee Moore

Michael Lee Moore, 77, of Waterford, Mississippi, passed away at his home on March 11, 2025.  He was born at the Marshall County Hospital on December 16, 1947, to Melvin Lee Moore and Loyce Smith Moore in Holly Springs, Mississippi.

Mike is survived by his wife, Ginger Moore of Waterford, his daughter, Melissa Haney (Mark), and step daughter, Kasey Stafford (Steven), all of Waterford.  He also leaves his mother, Loyce Moore Cox, also of Waterdford, and three grandchildren, Shauna Walker of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jordan Williamson, and Cannon Stafford, both of Waterford.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Lee Moore, step father, Joe Cox, grandparents Russell Smith and Zelma Smith Young (Maw), and brother Kerry Dean Moore.

Services for Mike will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 1:00 pm, in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home.  A visitation for family and friends will begin at 11:00 am, and continue until service time.  Mike will be buried at the Waterford Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Neil Bennett, Cole Childers, Jonathan Moore, Steven Stafford, Billy Swift, and Steve Wilson.

Mike was always good to me when I was a frequent customer at Booker Hardware. I'm a DIY'er and I treasure the Booker cap he gave me. I offer my deepest sympathy to his family and friends for their loss.

Our Prayers and thoughts are with the family. mike was a wonderful caring man loved by all he was the joy in his mothers eye (Loyce) he loved people and his family he also had a love of Trucks and his dog. Mike was a very funny man and kind. (John 5:28-29)
