Elizabeth Carolyn Anglin, 83, of Holly Springs, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, on February 25, 2025. She was born on October 3, 1941, in Baldwyn, Mississippi, to William Travis McBroom and Dorothy Waters McBroom. Mrs Anglin was a customer service representative and an IRA Processor with Unity Bank for over thirty five years, and also worked with Fant, Crutcher, Moore, Spencer, and Brown, and at Wurlitzer as a distribution and transportation manager She was a member of Holly Springs First Baptist Church for over sixty years, where she served on the Hostess Committee, the Youth Committee, and where she served faithfully in the nursery.
Mrs Anglin is survived by her husband of sixty three years, Wayne Anglin, a daughter, Bonita Anglin Mendenhall (Ronnie Mendenhall), and a son Michael Anglin (Nanette DeShazo). She also leaves a sister, Jeanette McBroom Coker (Ricky Coker), three grandchildren, Amber Anglin Quinn (Jonathan), Britanie Anglin Allred (Will), and Kelli Mendenhall, and six great grandchildren, Emma, Marshall, Stella, Scarlett, Parker, and Wyatt. Mrs Anglin was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, William (Bill) Waters McBroom.
Services for Mrs Anglin will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 11:00 am. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday evening, February 28, from 5:30 until 7:00 pm, at the Funeral Home. Burial, following the service, will be at Lee Memorial Cemetery in Tupelo.
