Carol Bell Gardner

Carol Bell Gardner, 83, of Mt Pleasant, passed away surrounded by her family at her son's home in Red Banks on Thursday, March 13, 2025.  She was born on September 13, 1941, in Mt Pleasant, to Henry Lee Bell and Annie Langston Bell.  Carol worked as the office manager at Star Electric in Collierville for many years. She was a faithful member of Bridgeway Baptist Church in Mt Pleasant for over thirty years, where she taught a children's Sunday School Class for many of those years.

Carol is survived by her daughter Cheryl Gardner Huckaby (Tim) of Columbia, Tennessee, and her son Marty Gardner (Lisa) of Red Banks.  She also leaves two brothers, Henry (Buddy) Bell of Holly Springs, and Ted Bell (Linda) of Mt Pleasant, six grandchildren, Hunter Greene, Chris Gardner, Christian Greene, Shelby Simpson, Kaitlyn McCollum, and Kolton Huckaby,  and eight great grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband of fifty seven years, Howard Gardner, and two twin brothers, Jimmy and Jerry Bell.

Pallbearers will be, Hunter Greene, Chris Gardner, Christian Greene, Kolton Huckaby, Kyle
Simpson and A. J. McCollum

Services for Carol will be held at Bridgeway Baptist Church in Mt Pleasant on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at 2:00 pm.  There will be a visitation for family and friends on Saturday evening, March 15, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the Holly Springs Funeral Home. Burial, following the funeral service, will be at Carey Chapel Cemetery.

So sorry to hear this. Did not know funeral was yesterday, the 15th. I just saw this today, the 16th. I loved Carol from the first day we met, long lost cousins. She was always so sweet and kind to me. My heart and prayers to all the family. Love my Langston family.
