Scott Robinson

Scott Robinson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and community leader, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 75. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, on June 28, 1949, to Brooks and Kathleen Robinson, Scott was raised in Waterford, Mississippi, where he built lifelong connections and made an indelible mark on the community he loved.

A proud graduate of Holly Springs High School, Scott excelled both academically and athletically. He went on to attend the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), later earning his degree from the Ole Miss School of Pharmacy.

Scott was a true serial entrepreneur whose business ventures reflected his drive, creativity, and dedication to serving others. He faithfully operated Robinson’s Drugstore for over 40 years, serving generations of families in Holly Springs. In addition to his pharmacy, Scott successfully ran Robinson Realty and pursued various other business interests throughout his career, always striving to strengthen and support his community.

In 1972, Scott married Helen Kennedy, and together, they welcomed their daughter Carrie that same year, followed by their son Matthew in 1975. Later in life, Scott married Tanya, with whom he shared many happy and fulfilling years. Tanya’s unwavering love, care, and companionship meant the world to Scott, and their time together was filled with joy, devotion, and mutual support.

Scott had a special gift for bringing people together and lifting the spirits of everyone around him. Whether through family gatherings, lively celebrations, or his everyday kindness, Scott’s joyful energy and generous heart left a lasting impression. He loved helping others, mentoring, and sharing in the successes of his friends and family.

Scott is survived by his loving wife Tanya of Holly Springs; his sister Conway of Waterford; his brother David of Hattiesburg; his daughter Carrie, her husband Patrick, and their son Brooks of Oxford; and his son Matthew, his wife Tenaya, and their sons Ronan and Jack of Austin, Texas.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the countless people whose lives he touched.

A celebration of life will be held at Holly Springs Funeral home on Friday March 21st from 12pm-3pm. Flowers may be sent to Holly Springs Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in honor of Scott Robinson.
