Pamela Fletcher Shown

Pamela Fletcher Shown, 70, of Lamar, Mississippi, passed away at Baptist Hospital in Collierville on November 19, 2024.  She was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on December 18, 1953, to James L Byrd and Bonnie Jean Leatherwood Byrd.  Mrs Shown was a member of Slayden Baptist Church and was a retired assembler.

Mrs Shown is survived by her husband, Harry L Shown, her mother, Bonnie Byrd of Lamar, two sons, Shawn Fletcher (Jana) of Mt Pleasant and Terry Fletcher of Lamar, and four daughters, Christy Govin (Jim) of San Antonio, Texas, Lauren Ashley Shown of Blue Springs, Brittany Riley of Virginia, and Hannah Allen of Olive Branch.  She also leaves a brother,  Mickey Byrd of Lamar,  a sister, Jonnie Collins of Lamar, twenty three grandchildren, and one great grandchild.  Mrs Shown was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Magen Fletcher, and her father, James Byrd, and her late husband, Rudy Fletcher

Services for Mrs Shown will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 2:00 pm, at Slayden Baptist Church.  A visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 pm, and continue until service time.  Burial will be Slayden Cemetery.
