James “Ronnie” Ronald Kesler passed away at the age of 87 on Monday, December

23, 2024, while surrounded by family.

He was born to Thomas Fred and Pearl Christine Kesler on December 2, 1937, in

Abbeville, MS. After graduating high school, he worked at Ray Bros. as an office

manager. He met his wife Betty Kesler in Oxford, MS and they were married on December

24, 1959. He is survived by his children: Sherry (Kevin) Scrogham, James (Kathy)

Ronald Kesler Jr., Vickie White, and Stacey (Jackie) Kesler, his twenty grandchildren, and

thirteen great-grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-

grandfather.

He was a member of the Masons and the First Baptist Church of Abbeville.

He was preceded in death by his parents Fred Kesler and Pearl Kesler, his siblings:

Fredrick “Jeep” Kesler, Harold Kesler, Peggy White, Stanley Kesler, Thelma Lyell, and

his great-grandson James Ronald Kesler III.

Services for Mr Kesler will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Friday, , December 27, 2024, at 11:00 am.  A visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 am, and last until service time.
