Cora Gertrude "Trudy" Byard, 85, of Holly Springs, passed away on July17, 2024, at her home. She was born in Lafayette County, Mississippi, on September 28, 1938, to Clyde and BIrdie Jones Green. Mrs Byard was a former owner of American Heating and Air Conditioning for over fifty years. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Holly Springs and of Eastern Star.
Mrs Byard is survived by her sons Eddie Byard (Donna), Joey Byard, and Chris Byard. She also leaves two brothers, Billy Green and Benny Green, five grandchildren Elizabeth Billions (Roy), Emilee Byard, Alexis Randle (who was also her very special caregiver), Connor Randle, all of Holly Springs, and Sarah Bolton (Ryan) of Collierville,Tennessee, and four great grandchildren, Eli and Paxton Billions, and Brooks and Blake Bolton. Mrs Byard was preceded in death by her husband John E "JR" Byard and a sister, Stella Shannon.
Services for Mrs Byard will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 1:00 pm. A visitaton for family and friends will begin at 11:00 am and continue until service time. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Roy Billions, Johnny Shannon, Marcus Green, Eric Green, Scott Wilder, and David Waddle. Brother Joe Lusby will officiate the funeral sevices. |
