Sidney Crawford Shaw Jr, 60, of Waterford, Mississippi, passed away at his home on May 20, 2024. He was born in Holly Springs on February 22, 1964, to Sidney C Shaw and Mary Hicks Shaw. Mr Shaw was a superintendent with the Mississippi Department of Transportation.
Mr Shaw is survived by his wife of thirty one years, Jennifer McCoy Shaw, his mother, Mary Shaw of Conway Arkansas, a son Jesse Shaw (Kaddy) of Houston, Mississippi, and a daughter, Morgan Shaw Sheeks (Michael) of Abbeville. He also leaves a sister, Mary Jet Sternberg (Dennis) of Greenbrier, Arkansas, a brother in law, Terry LaRoche of Clifton, Illinois, and three grandchildren, Ryann, Leddi and Sarah. He was preceded in death by his father, Sidney Shaw Sr, and two sisters, Cindy Shaw Goode and Deborah Laroche.
Services for Mr Shaw will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 1:00 pm. A visitation for family and friends will begin at noon and last until service time. Burial will be in Mt Moriah Cemetery in Laws Hill. The family asks that any gifts of food or flowers be delivered to the Holly Springs Funeral Home.
