Kristy Brigance Johnson, 58, of Byhalia, passed away at Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch on March 15, 2024. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on May 13, 1965, to Jimmy Brigance and Sarah Newman Brigance. Kristy was an avid animal lover, homemaker, and was co-owner of Magnolia Construction Company.
Kristy is survived by her husband, John Johnson, her parents, and four sons, Eddie King of Byhalia, Coltin King, also of Byhalia, Jacob Johnson, and Jonathan Johnson, both of Memphis. She also leaves three brothers, Jim Brigance (Deborah) of Lamar, Bill Brigance (Kim) of Collierville, and Eric Brigance (Erin) of Holly Springs, her in-laws, Jeffery and Dorrie Johnson, four grandchildren, Evan Johnson, Sammy Johnson, Christopher King, and Daisy Griffin, and a host of nieces and nephews. Kristy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Beasley and Helen Brigance, and inlaws Thomas and Earl Williams.
Services for Kristy will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 2:00 pm. A visitation for family and friends will begin at noon, and last until service time. Burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stevie Brigance, Drew Brigance, Steven Brigance, Arron Brigance, Kevin Kimball, and Mark Kimball. |
