Jamie Naugher Woods, 95, passed away on Thursday, December 8th, 2016, at Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch, Mississippi. She was born in Pontotoc County, Mississippi, on August 11th, 1921, the youngest of eleven children born to James Russell Naugher and Lora King Naugher. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Holly Springs, Mississippi. She was also a member of the Marshall County Forestry Association. She was a retired real estate broker.
Visitation will be held at 12:00 noon with funeral service at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 12th, 2016 at Holly Springs Funeral Home in Holly Springs, Mississippi, with Rev. Jeff Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home in Holly Springs is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by one son Robert Luell Woods (Donna); grandson Robert Wallace Woods; granddaughter Emily Hendrix; grandson Brandon Hillyard (Mallory); great granddaughters Elise Hendrix and Gracie Hendrix.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Charles William “Buddy “ Woods, her daughter-in-law Suzie Woods, her six brothers Robert Edward Naugher, James Elbert Naugher, John Richard Naugher, Eldridge Naugher (Captain U.S. Army), Loran Dever Naugher and David Naugher, her four sisters Thelma Estelle Naugher, Frances Elizabeth Naugher, Maxine Naugher Horton and Maurine Naugher Sewell.
Pallbearers will be Pat Cox, Michael Hawks, Alan C. Hurdle, Ronnie Jones, William Mims, Carter Naugher, Jon David Naugher, Ronnie Strickland, Shane Strickland, Chris Woods and Pat Woods.
