James Andrew Smith Jr, 72, of Red Banks, passed away at his home on December 19, 2021. He was born on May 9, 1949, in Memphis, to James Andrew Smith Sr and Gladys Colston Shelton. Mr Smith was a United States Marine Corp Veteran and a retired truck driver.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Brenda Smith, his father, James Smith Sr of Holly Springs, two sons, Milton Clay Smith Sr (Melissa) and John Smith (Rachel) all of Red Banks, and a daughter, Janie Langston (Brian), also of Red Banks. He also leaves two brothers, Roy Smith and Billy Joe Smith, three sisters, JoAnn Bullard, Jan Taubken, and Pat Maroney, nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Shelton, a son James A Smith III, and a brother, Donald Ray Smith.
Services for Mr Smith will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at 11:00 am, in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00 am until service time. Burial will be in Carey Chapel Cemetery in Red Banks. |
